Panther Athletes-come join the team for pizza to kickoff the first home meet of the season! Just bring yourself but please RSVP on the website. Dinner is hosted by the Frank family at their home at 185 Trotters Ridge in the Highgrove subdivision. Please come when you can. When you arrive, please come up the driveway and around to the back. We look forward to seeing you there!

Dear Parents and Swimmers,

The State Swim Meet will be held on Friday and Saturday, February 4-5 at Georgia Tech. The format will be the same as pre-Covid meets. Boys and girls will swim prelims on Friday morning. Finals will be Saturday morning. See the detailed schedule below. Spectators are allowed this year!

Since the county meet was rescheduled to the end of January, we will not be able to finalize the state team until a week before. Swimmers can qualify in individual events at the county meet. Relays will be selected after county, but who's swimming and who are alternates may not be finalized until after that weekend.

All seniors may attend the state meet even if they are not swimming individual or relay events. They will go as spectators to experience what a state meet is like. Unless they are swimming, they will not be allowed on deck.

Volunteer timers are needed. Click here to sign up.

The county transportation office cannot provide a bus for us on Friday morning. Mr. Ratliff and Mrs. Nichols are exploring some options. It is almost certain we will not have a bus home. Parents who attend may be asked to help carpool other swimmers back to school. We will update you when we know more.

A few more details:

The cost of admission is $15 per session.
Prepaid parking for personal vehicles and SUV’s can be purchased in advance of the meet. Passes must be purchased in advance via the following link https://gatech.pmreserve.com/ The link will be active about 2 weeks prior to the meet. Vehicles may NOT pay at arrival in the prepaid lots.
Heat sheets will be online, not for sale. We will send a link when we get it.

Prelims will be conducted in two 10 lane courses. The boys events will swim in the west pool (by the main scoreboard) and the girls will swim in the east pool by the diving well). Finals will be swum in one 10 lane course, the east pool.
